No more 'Frizz Head' thanks to 'Bed Head'

I think everyone knows the brand 'TIGI' by now. They have a very successful range called 'Bed Head'. They have a wide range of hair products on offer from hairspray to shampoo and conditioner and also various hair styling products. I'm going to be honest, I have never really tried their products before now. I was first introduced to the Bed Head range when my parents very kindly bought me it for Christmas and I have not turned back since. My parents bought me the 'Self Absorbed, Mega Nutrient Conditioner' and the 'Moisture Manic, Moisturising Shampoo'. I have absolutely fell in love with these products and here's why..

A few months ago I went to my usual hairdressers. However what I didn't get was my usual hairdresser as she happened to be on holiday. Usually I would have left it to another time when my hairdresser was back at work but my hair was getting ridiculously long and tangly that it needed done there and then. Let's just say the hairdresser wasn't very pleasant. We ended up fighting for half an hour as I told her that I didn't want any layers but wanted a fair bit of the end of my hair. She told me that this was impossible to do without putting a few layers into my hair. I didn't agree with her as my usual hairdresser had done this plenty of times. So after an intense conversation she finally started on my hair and I loved it. I had planned to actually go back to this hairdresser rather my usual hairdresser, that's how much I loved my hair. Well, I loved it..until I really seen what she had done to it.

Now I usually wouldn't have frizzy hair at all but after washing and blow-drying my hair for the first time after I had been to the hairdressers I noticed a LOT of frizz. Especially near to the roots of my hair. The frizz would not go away no matter what way I would style my hair. It definitely had to be the atrocious layers that she had cut into my hair, the layers weren't even either. The frizz and the dodgy layers which resulted in the frizz in my hair, ended up resulting in me wearing my hair up for the next couple of months. I tried every 'Anti-Frizz' product on the market. None of them were working and I was starting to lose my patience.

I wasn't really excited at first about these products only for the sheer fact that I thought it was just another product claiming to do stuff to your hair that in actual fact it didn't. However, I was VERY wrong. These products have seriously changed my hair for the better.

I have the 400ml 'Moisture Manic Shampoo'. Prices range from £8-£10 for this product. The 'Moisture Manic' shampoo is said to be the perfect shampoo from the range to deal with frizz. What it claims, isn't wrong. The shampoo 'repairs and thickens, helps protect from heat damage and soothes and promotes a healthy feel.' I used this product like 3 or 4 times and I already seen a difference. The smell of the product is ok it's a pretty basic 'shampoo smell.' But if your looking for a shampoo to do the job, rather than smelling nice then this shampoo is perfect for you. The only downside of this product is that I feel that it doesn't lather very well. I would have quite long hair and I have to use between 3-4 pumps of it before my hair is covered.

The 'Self Absorbed' conditioner is just as good as the shampoo. I have the 250ml of the conditioner. Prices for this product range from £8-£10. Compared to the shampoo this conditioner has a really sweet smell, like literally it smells like sweets. I personally think it smells like 'Refresher' sweets. Yummy! Yet again though, I have to use quite a bit of the product in order to cover my hair but I don't mind because it smells good. TIGI claim that this conditioner enhances shine, revitalizes hair and creates a soft finish. I would definitely agree with that.

The packaging isn't fantastic, it's pretty basic as you can see from the photo above. But for me personally it's doing the job and that's all I care about. I would definitely re-purchase this product again & again. If you try this product it will not fail you.

Hope you enjoyed my first beauty related post.
